Shockingly, approximately 6 million pets lost their lives as a result of the Russian aggression, according to official figures. The Black Sea, once a vibrant ecosystem, witnessed the deaths of at least 50,000 dolphins due to the military conflict. The collateral damage also extended to farmland, with limited physical access to farms, disrupted supply chains, and the blackout leading to millions of poultry and livestock deaths.
